Dr. Goldfarb received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse in 1974. He has been duly elected Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology since 1981.

Dr. Goldfarb's practice combines the best of the past, individual attention to the patient, with the best of the future incorporating modern technology. He performs laser procedures in his office and phacoemulsification cataract surgery at the nationally accredited JCAHO Fishkill Ambulatory Surgery Center, which received a 99% patient satisfaction through Press Ganey. Dr. David Goldfarb manages a large glaucoma patient population with expertise using the latest in pharmacological treatment. Also, with over 20% of diabetic patients developing diabetic eye disease (Retinopathy) at some point in their lifetime, Dr. Goldfarb monitors those patients with the frequency and care they need to minimize vision loss.
Dr. Goldfarb and his staff pride themselves in respectful, high quality individual attention and treatment that they provide, which can only be offered within a solo practice. Each patient is treated with quality high standards. The office is a full-service practice with an independent operator owned optical dispensary on-site for the convenience of their patients.
